Abstract

ABSTRAK Karya Seni Tari berjudul “Lila Ing Batos” ini menyajikan kisah perjalan seorang tokoh perempuan yang mengsyiarkan Agama Islam di Gresik. Nyai Ageng Pinatih adalah Wanita pertamakali yang menjabat sebagai Syahbandar (Pimpinan Pelabuhan) yang bijak, tegas, ulet dan mengsyiarkan Agama Islam melalui perdagangan. Namun , dibalik kesuksesan Nyai Ageng Pinatih tidak banyak yang mengetahui bahwa Nyai Ageng Pinatih memiliki kisah pilu karena ditinggal oleh Suami. Koreografer menciptakan karya dengan pendekatan teori penciptaan tari sebagai format deskripsi karya seni . Dua Permasalahan pada deskripsi karya seni ini adalah apa saja yang dialami gejolak batin Nyai Ageng Pinatih , dan bagaimana cara menghadapi rasa pilu yang dihadapi oleh Nyai Ageng Pinatih. Penciptaan Karya Seni Tari ini dilatar belakangi oleh Masyarakat Gresik yang belum mengetahui perjalanan Nyai Ageng Pinatih menjadi Seorang Syahbandar serta memiliki kisah pilu. Untuk Menciptakan Karya Seni Tari “Lila Ing Batos” koreografer menggunakan metode penciptaan yang dikemukakan oleh Margaret N.H’Doubler yaitu bergerak menurut kata hati. Hasil Penciptaan ini adalah mengetahui perjalanan Nyai Ageng Pinatih sebagai Syahbandar yang Bijak, Tegas,ulet dan Syiarkan Agama Islam melalui Perdagangan , namun memiliki kisah Pilu. Di ciptakan bentuk baru dalam kepenarian tokoh Nyai Ageng Pinatih yang dikemas melalui gerak tari Banyuwangi dan Gresik sesuai dengan perjalanan Nyai Ageng Pinatih. Kata Kunci : Nyai Ageng Pinatih, Syahbandar,Pilu,Syiar Agama,Koreografi ABSTRACT This dance artwork entitled "Lila Ing Batos" presents the story of the journey of a female character who spread Islam religion in Gresik. Nyai Ageng Pinatih was the first Woman who served as a wise, decisive, tenacious Shahbandar (Port Leader) and spread the Islam Religion through trading. However, behind the success of Nyai Ageng Pinatih, not many people know that she had a sad story because she was left by her husband. The choreographer created this works with the approach of the dance creation theory as a format of artwork description. The two problems in the description of this artwork are what the inner turmoil felt by Nyai Ageng Pinatih, and how to deal with that the pain. The background of the creation of this Dance Artwork was the Gresik society had not known the journey of Nyai Ageng Pinatih to become a shah bandar who had a sad story as well. In Creating this Dance Artworks "Lila Ing Batos" the choreographer used the creation method proposed by Margaret N.H’Doubler that is to move according to the heart. The result of this Creation is to know the journey of Nyai Ageng Pinatih as a Wise, Resolute, Tenacious Shahbandar (Port Leader) who spread Islam religion through trading, but she had a sad story as well. A new form was created to dance the character of Nyai Ageng Pinatih which was packaged through Banyuwangi and Gresik dance movements in accordance with the journey of Nyai Ageng Pinatih.
